Scottish indie game developer, Team Terrible, has announced that The Baby in Yellow, their popular Lovecraft-inspired babysitting game, will be available on Steam Early Access from May 26th. This release will coincide with a major content update for iOS, Android, and Windows, named The Black Cat.

In The Black Cat update, players will explore a strange and eerie world, guided by a black cat that has transported them to a place beyond their wildest nightmares. With the help of a new robotic companion named Newt, players must navigate through twisted landscapes, solve intricate puzzles, and unravel the secrets of The Baby’s dark origins. But beware, as The Baby is hot on your tail and will stop at nothing to get what it wants. Will you survive your journey with the Black Cat, or will you fall victim to the horrors that await?
In the hit game, players take on the role of a babysitter looking after a baby possessed by a demon, who attempts to thwart their endeavours. In a unique blend of comedy and horror, players must brave five nights of uncanny behaviour and unravel the mysteries behind the erratic toddler. The Baby in Yellow was originally created in just 48 hours for a Game Jam back in 2020 by two ex-Rockstar developers. Since then, it has become a viral success, achieving an impressive 140 million downloads across Android, iOS, and PC.
The Steam Early Access release of The Baby in Yellow promises to expand and fine-tune the game’s established content while introducing new features and improvements for players. With the community’s feedback and support, Team Terrible hopes to create an even more thrilling and immersive experience for fans of the game.
