Edifier, the pioneer in innovative audio technology, has just announced the release of the QD35, a tabletop Bluetooth speaker that melds state-of-the-art audio specifications with mesmerising ‘Lumia Art’ effects, delivering an unforgettable acoustic and visual experience.

The term ‘Lumia’ was coined by 20th-century artist, Thomas Wilfred, signifying a unique form of art that marries light and colour. Initially paired with music, ‘Lumia Art’ later transitioned into paintings. The QD35 is Edifier’s nod to this art form, a vibrant speaker boasting an impressive kaleidoscopic display of coloured lights. This creative, musical journey is customizable with various preset light effects available via the Edifier Connect app.

The QD35 isn’t just a feast for the eyes, it’s an all-in-one music system designed to deliver a high-quality auditory experience. Certified for both “Hi-Res Audio” and “Hi-Res Audio Wireless”, this speaker supports high-resolution audio signals via its USB-A port and AUX jack. With the integration of LDAC technology, the QD35 can stream high-quality music at a 96kHz sampling rate via Bluetooth.

Beneath its aesthetically pleasing exterior, the QD35 packs a powerful punch. Its full-digit DSP chipset accurately divides signals into treble and mid-bass, further enhanced by the TI Closed Loop digital amplifier. This amplifier distributes enhanced audio signals across different frequency bands to the target drivers, delivering accurate reproduction and a total power output of up to 40RMS, sufficient to fill a lounge, studio, or other large living spaces.

To further elevate the audio experience, the QD35 features 3-inch mid-bass drivers with an aluminium alloy diaphragm, and 1-inch silk diaphragm dome tweeters, finely tuned to reproduce intense, rich mids, and crisp, bright trebles. The innovative MazeTube Bass Reflex Channels and TurbMuff Air Noise Suppression Technology ensure that port noises and resonance are reduced to the bare minimum.

Edifier’s Connect app empowers users to synchronise the clock automatically or manually, customise their own EQs and share their EQs with friends, further enhancing the user experience.

The Edifier QD35, which retails at £189.99, will be available in the UK from April. Experience the symbiosis of high-quality acoustics and vibrant Lumia Art with the all-new Edifier QD35 Bluetooth Speaker.
