Xbox has revealed its Gamescom 2025 lineup. It includes a playable demo of Hollow Knight: Silksong and hands-on time with the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X.
Silksong was announced in 2019. This is the first time the public can try it. There’s still no release date, but the playable demo is a big step. A build is also going into an Australian museum this September.
The ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X will also be at the Gamescom 2025. They’re Xbox-focused handhelds made by ASUS.
First-party demos and Xbox streams
Xbox’s booth will have new demos from its studios. That includes Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants, which launches on 4 September 2025. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will show off a new city update. Grounded 2 will be playable too, and it hits Xbox Game Pass tomorrow.
Two Xbox broadcasts will run during the Gamescom 2025:
- 20 August at 2 pm BST – ROG Ally, Grounded 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and more
- 21 August at 2 pm BST – Ninja Gaiden 4, Overwatch 2, The Outer Worlds 2
