Ubisoft has announced the release date for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which will launch on March 20. The game follows the intertwined stories of two unique characters: Naoe, a skilled shinobi Assassin, and Yasuke, a powerful African samurai. Together, their journey promises an action-packed adventure filled with intrigue and excitement.

Pre-orders for the game are now open on both consoles and PC. Players who pre-order will receive the upcoming expansion, Claws of Awaji, for free. This expansion adds an extra 10 hours of gameplay, providing even more content to explore in the world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Ubisoft has also shared details about the PC features and specifications. The game will support raytraced global illumination and reflections, offering stunning visuals and realistic lighting. There will also be an in-game benchmark tool to help players optimize their performance. Other features include ultra-wide resolution support, dynamic resolution scaling, uncapped framerate, and HDR support. For those with multi-monitor setups, the game is compatible with AMD Eyefinity and NVIDIA Surround.

Players will benefit from advanced upscaling technologies, including Intel XeSS 2, NVIDIA DLSS 3.7, and AMD FSR 3.1, ensuring smooth and high-quality visuals. Additionally, the game offers deep customization options, allowing players to adjust controller layouts, configure keyboard and mouse settings, and choose from a variety of language options.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PC (through Ubisoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store), Ubisoft+, Amazon Luna, and Macs with Apple silicon via the MacApp Store.
