Our very own Atom_12272 has been checking out the action-shooter Everspace, developed and published by ROCKFISH Games. For those of you not fond of reading, we have a lovely video review just below, and for those of you who are less lazy, there is a small summary just a little further down. Enjoy peeps!

SUMMARY:

A space aged dogfight battle to the death is the probably the best way to describe this high octane, quick-paced game. Everspace has an amazing feel to it; graphically the game’s visuals are crisp, clear and beautiful, and the graphics are accompanied by crystal clear audio making for a great gaming experience which will likely encourage all you sci-fi gamers to come out of the woodwork. As I played through the introduction to the game its easy to follow instructions alongside doing the tasks helped me soak in the information I needed to play the game and understand better what was going on a whole.  Replayability value rockets through the roof and because of that, Everspace will most likely become an on-stream and off-stream game for me. It really is in a league of its own and I can’t wait to see more from the developers behind it as this will have been an amazing achievement for them and I’m excited to see what they’ll do next. I’m glad to have had the opportunity to review this game, it has been an honour.

The TL;DR:

  • An exciting action-shooter set in Space
  • Graphically the game is crisp, clear and beautiful
  • Replayability value is very high
  • Tutorial is easy to follow and helps you settle into the game quickly
