FromSoftware has revealed The Duskbloods, a brand-new multiplayer title coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch 2 next year. Announced during today’s Nintendo Direct, the game carries an eerie, gothic atmosphere reminiscent of Bloodborne, with a vampire-inspired twist that almost feels like a Castlevania successor.

Details are scarce, but the trailer hints at fluid mobility similar to Elden Ring: Nightreign, FromSoftware’s other upcoming release. The game’s setting is dark and mysterious, with intricate environments and fast-paced combat that suggest a deep, challenging experience. While it’s currently a Switch 2 exclusive, there’s a good chance it could be a timed release before expanding to other platforms.

We’ll learn more soon, as FromSoftware has announced Creator’s Voice, a developer diary series featuring director Hidetaka Miyazaki, set to launch on April 4th. This should provide insight into the game’s world, mechanics, and design philosophy.

Before The Duskbloods arrives, Elden Ring: Nightreign is set to release next month on PC and consoles. This multiplayer game, featuring roguelike mechanics in the same world as Elden Ring, will also be coming to the Switch 2.
