FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have revealed a new standalone game, Elden Ring Nightreign. This cooperative multiplayer action RPG is set to launch in summer 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Elden Ring Nightreign is an all-new adventure within the Elden Ring universe. Unlike the original, this game focuses on three-player cooperative gameplay, where players team up to face unique challenges in a dark and ever-changing world.

- team up and fight together: Players can join forces in teams of three, tackling enemies and dangers brought by the “creeping night.”
- play as unique heroes: The game features eight different characters, each with special abilities and powerful ultimate moves. Players can upgrade these skills as they progress.
- survive the night: The map shrinks as night falls, intensifying the danger. Players will face a powerful boss at the end of each night, with the ultimate challenge coming on the third night against the “Nightlord.”
What makes it different?
Unlike the original Elden Ring, Nightreign takes place in a parallel universe, offering a fresh perspective. Each game session features a new map layout, dynamic challenges, and relics that allow players to customise and enhance their characters.
