Capcom’s next big horror chapter, Resident Evil Requiem, is officially up for pre-order, and there’s more to come soon. The game launches on 27 February 2026, just in time for the series’ 30th anniversary.

This time, we’ll follow Grace Ashcroft, the daughter of Outbreak’s Alyssa Ashcroft, as she faces whatever’s left of Raccoon City. Capcom hasn’t revealed much about the story yet, but if the early whispers are right, we’re in for a grim, emotional ride through familiar nightmares.

Resident Evil Requiem – Road to Requiem

A short announcement video, narrated by Maggie Robertson, yes, Lady Dimitrescu herself, looks back at the franchise’s legacy, from the 1996 original right up to Village. It closes with a tease for a new Resident Evil Showcase in early 2026, likely in January, promising new gameplay and maybe even that rumoured Resident Evil 0 remake.

Resident Evil Requiem is priced at £57.99 ($69.99) for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. A Deluxe Edition (£66.99 / $79.99) adds extra costumes, weapon skins, filters, charms, and a gorgeous Steelbook case for collectors.

Capcom’s also releasing a Resident Evil-themed Switch 2 Pro Controller, a Grace Ashcroft Amiibo coming in summer 2026, and even a Fortnite skin to top it off. The undead never rest, and neither does Resident Evil.
