PlayStation players who were excited to enjoy their favourite games this weekend are facing a big problem. The PlayStation Network (PSN) is down worldwide, making it impossible to play online, buy games, or even log in to accounts.
PSN issues started at midnight
According to reports on DownDetector, the problems started around midnight and quickly got worse. Many players tried to log in, but when they couldn’t, they gave up and went to bed, hoping the issue would be fixed by morning. Unfortunately, the problem is still not solved, and more reports are coming in.

All PlayStation services are offline
At the moment, all online services for PlayStation are down. The official PSN status page shows a red warning for all features, which means nothing is working properly. The affected services include:
- Account Management – Players cannot log in, create a new account, or change account settings.
- Games and Online Play – It is impossible to play online games or use cloud streaming.
- PlayStation Store – Players cannot buy, download, or search for games. Even redeeming codes is not working.
- PlayStation Video – Streaming services for movies and shows are also not working.
These issues are affecting all PlayStation consoles, including PS5, PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, as well as PlayStation’s official websites around the world.

Sony has not provided a fix yet
Sony’s support team acknowledged the issue at 2:46 AM, saying they are aware of the problem. However, they have not shared any updates since then. It is still unclear what is causing the problem or when it will be fixed.
For now, PlayStation players can only wait for Sony to resolve the issue. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as soon as new information becomes available.
