A new trailer has just landed for Phantom Line, a 1-4 player co-op shooter that blends tactical gameplay with horror and sci-fi elements. Developed by industry veterans who worked on Cyberpunk 2077 and BioShock, this upcoming title throws players into a post-nuclear European wasteland, where supernatural anomalies lurk in the shadows.

But this isn’t your typical run-and-gun shooter. In Phantom Line, you play as an Operator for Mortfield Industries, a mysterious megacorporation investigating reality-bending anomalies. With nuclear war raging in the background, your team is deployed to the Iron Corridor, a volatile Eastern European region filled with strange phenomena and hostiles.

Tactical gameplay with a sci-fi edge

At the core of Phantom Line is the H.U.S.K. Operator Simulation Program—a unique system that lets you transfer your consciousness into artificial bodies. These H.U.S.K.s aren’t just disposable avatars; they’re tactical tools, allowing you to scout, distract enemies, and even act as decoys. The system encourages creativity, giving players multiple ways to tackle encounters.

Your base of operations is the Icebreaker, a massive nuclear-powered ship where you can customise your H.U.S.K., upgrade your gear, and modify your loadout. It also acts as a social hub where you and your squad can show off weapons and armour.

Crafting and Hunting the Anomalies

Survive in a harsh, dangerous world where every day is a battle. You’ll need to make do with whatever resources you can scavenge. Crafting is essential—use everything at your disposal to gear up and adapt your tactics on the fly. Keep your health in check by hunting wild animals and cooking them for vital sustenance.

But survival isn’t enough. Humanity is at war with unspeakable horrors, and to fight back, you must embrace the very thing you’re hunting. Wield the powerful H.U.S.K.s, machines designed to help you battle anomalies, and upgrade your body using Quintessence, a mysterious substance gained by capturing these nightmarish creatures. Each upgrade brings you closer to becoming the ultimate anomaly hunter.
