This isn’t your typical Dungeons and Dragons experience. According to Eugene Evans, SVP of Digital Strategy & Licensing at Wizards of the Coast, the game focuses on fast turn-based combat and pick-up-and-play mechanics. Battlemarked takes a DM-less approach, focusing on social strategy instead of roleplay. It’s all about table talk, tactics, and quick decision-making. No need to worry about building characters’ personalities in a roleplay sense—just dive into the action!

The game will support cross-platform co-op play for up to four players, making it easy for friends to team up from different platforms. At launch, there will be two story-based campaigns, with more to come as downloadable content. These future campaigns will explore different Dungeons and Dragons settings, offering even more adventures to look forward to. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest updates.

For those unfamiliar with Demeo, it’s a game that’s quickly gained popularity. As Tommy Palm, Founder and CEO of Resolution Games, says, “With the launch of Demeo in 2021, we started building an incredible relationship with the D&D community.” Demeo and Demeo Battles have become game night favourites, offering Dungeon Masters and players a way to enjoy D&D without needing a campaign. If you haven’t yet given Demeo a go, it’s available on most gaming devices—so why not jump in and see what all the fuss is about?

This upcoming Battlemarked game is shaping up to be another hit in the growing Demeo universe. Whether you’re a D&D veteran or a newcomer, this is one to watch. Stay tuned for more updates—Battlemarked is definitely one to add to your gaming list.
