2K today announced a slew of updates in NBA SuperCard, the collectable card-battling game from Cat Daddy Games, including the debut of the new Onyx card tier, new modes, themes and more. The new Onyx card tier features dozens of current NBA and WNBA stars such as Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, Candace Parker and Diana Taurasi, and introduces the first-ever cards for NBA legends including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Julius Erving.
In addition to the new card tier, NBA SuperCard has introduced new modes and experiences for players, including King of the Hill. Joining Head 2 Head in the PVP rotation, King of the Hill features players battling for supremacy on the blacktop.
From June 1 until the end of the NBA Finals, players can also enjoy playoff fusion events and quests that feature:
- The most powerful cards in the game to date, led by Onyx Kawhi Leonard and Kyrie Irving;
- Bonus store pack with Sapphire Ben Simmons and additional rewards;
- More cards added to the Playoff collection from teams that advance to later rounds in the NBA postseason.
Starting June 15, a new set of special edition cards go live in the form of the Summer theme. Plus, new players can jump right into the action with a Sapphire Playoffs Theme Ben Simmons, 1,000 SuperCoins and 200 Credits by joining between June 1 and June 21.
NBA SuperCard is available for download free of charge on the Apple App Store for iOS devices, including iPhone and iPad, and the Google Play Store for Android devices today.
