Lies of P fans, it’s time to sharpen those blades again—Overture, the game’s highly anticipated DLC, has just been revealed during State of Play. While many were hoping for a Bloodborne remaster (especially with all the recent DMCA takedowns of the 60fps mod and Bloodborne Remake), we’ve got the next best thing: brand-new Lies of P content.

This expansion brings us back to the origins of the Puppet Frenzy—the catastrophic event that led to the downfall of Krat. Expect a deep dive into the past, present, and future of the game’s twisted world, with new locations to explore and intense new boss fights to conquer.

One of the standout features of Lies of P was its customisation, letting players mix and match outfits and weapons for both fashion and function. Overture is doubling down on that with even more stylish outfits, powerful weapons, and fresh Legion Arms to experiment with. Plus, a new combat style is being introduced, which could change up how you approach battles entirely.

As for the release date, there’s no exact day just yet, but Neowiz has confirmed that Overture will launch this summer on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro. Strangely, there was no mention of a PC or Xbox release, which raises some concerns about potential exclusivity. Whether it’s a timed deal or just an omission from the announcement remains unclear, but for now, PlayStation players seem to have the upper hand.
