Bandai Namco and Media.Vision has shared a new nine-minute video for Digimon Story: Time Stranger. The clip features a deep gameplay look, narrated by producer Ryosuke Hara. It gives a quick but clear overview of how the game works, what the story offers, and how battles play out.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger dives into time and bonds
The story begins in Tokyo. A secret agent meets an unknown creature. Then a huge explosion destroys the city. The agent wakes up eight years in the past. That’s where the game starts. Your goal is to stop the collapse of the world. You’ll meet different characters and travel across time and parallel worlds. Your choices can change fate.
The game moves between two worlds. One is the human world. The other is the Iliad, the Digital World. Iliad is full of detail and life. You can interact with many things. There are also side quests to explore.

Turn-based battles and over 450 Digimon
Combat is turn-based. It’s more strategic this time. You’ll need to plan your moves. You can collect over 450 Digimon. Each Digimon is unique. You can raise them, evolve them, and build your team. Customisation is deep. You can shape your Digimon to match your playstyle.
Your bond with each Digimon matters. It changes how they fight and affects the story, too. The stronger the bond, the better the result.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC (Steam) on October 3. The new video gives a clear idea of what to expect. If you enjoy monster RPGs with time travel and strong storylines, this one is worth watching.
