Noodle Cat Games has announced its brand-new action RPG Cloudheim, set to launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Cloudheim - Giant Beast

Game bio

At its core, Cloudheim is all about teamwork, destruction, and creativity. You can fight solo or team up with up to three friends to take down enemies using combo-driven combat in a fully destructible world. Instead of just hacking away, you can use the environment to your advantage—knocking over pillars, flinging enemies into tornadoes, and even launching creatures out of cannons.

And crafting? It’s not just a menu chore here. You’ll be able to forge weapons and gear on the fly without stopping the action, giving you a ridiculous level of customisation while keeping the momentum going.

Cloudheim key features

  • Smash everything – The Cloudheim world is fully breakable, and you can use that to your advantage in battle. Drop structures on enemies, kick explosive barrels, or set up devastating team combos.
  • Co-op chaos – Play with up to three friends online and share all your weapons and abilities as you progress.
  • Craft without the grind – Build weapons, gear, and abilities instantly while exploring—no more waiting in menus. Sell what you don’t need and even create entire worlds over time.
  • Ride a giant flying turtle – Your base is Odin Shell, a massive ancient turtle infused with the power of a dead god. Expand it, customise your space, and even run a shop while soaring across the skies.
  • Explore dynamic worlds – Travel through shifting islands and dungeons filled with enemies, puzzles, resources, and loot.
  • Befriend bizarre creatures – The mischievous Blins, hungry Gnasher, and tough little Swordcupine are just a few of the allies you’ll meet.

Cloudheim is shaping up to be something special, especially if you love co-op RPGs with an emphasis on creativity. The mix of combat, destruction, and crafting—alongside a flying turtle base—sounds like pure chaotic fun. If that sounds like your kind of adventure, you might want to wishlist it on Steam or follow its progress leading up to its 2025 launch.
