Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 patch 1.4.0 is live, bringing NVIDIA DLSS and Intel XeSS Frame Generation support for PC players.

If you’ve got a compatible GPU, you can now enable Frame Generation and Low Latency modes for smoother performance and reduced input lag.

The update also adds several useful features. There’s now a Battle Retry option to quickly restart a fight after losing, a Lumina Cost Display in the Pictos menu to show ability costs clearly, and an Autoplay toggle for dialogue outside cutscenes. You also get separate volume sliders for exploration and combat music.

Balance tweaks and polish round out the Expedition 33 update

Patch 1.4.0 includes combat balance adjustments, bug fixes, and visual polish across several areas of the game. These tweaks help smooth out rough edges while keeping the experience consistent with the original launch.
