That’s right! Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be a day 1 release on the Xbox Game Pass. Hot off the back of the MW3 Season 4 Update, we also got this amazing news about COD:BO6 being on Game Pass.

This is a first for a Call of Duty title and it’s hard to tell whether it will be a good thing or not. On one hand, there should be more players playing on day 1, thanks to the Game Pass release. However, if this works out well, COD could soon become a subscription-based game, rather than one you just purchase a single time.

Only time will tell how things will work out but one thing is certain, I am all here for it. I use Game Pass for several things, from enjoying games to using them to test system stability and benchmark GPUs. Having access to so many games on Game Pass is great and I would expect Game Pass itself to see a bump in number thanks to the new Black Ops 6 coming to it on day 1!
