The upcoming update introduces Siren Isle, a brand-new area packed with mysteries for World of Warcraft players to explore. The island brings a unique currency called Flame Blessed Iron, which can be used to obtain pets, mounts, gear, and transmogs (in-game outfits).
Players can even use this currency to enhance a special ring called Cyrce’s Circlet. Additionally, Flame Blessed Iron is essential for summoning a challenging event boss, offering more rewards for those who are brave enough to face it. A video has been released to give players a sneak peek of Siren Isle, showcasing the island’s adventures and features.
Exciting events and story updates
Players can dive into two major events alongside the new zone in World of Warcraft:
- The Plunderstorm event returns, where players can become pirates, teaming up with Keg Leg in the Arathi Highlands. The goal is to gather loot while fighting to be the last pirate standing, earning new and returning pirate-themed items.
- The Turbulent Timeways event is also making a comeback, allowing players to explore dungeons from previous expansions each week, with Heroic rewards and gear upgrades. Those who complete the Timeways event can even earn the Timely Buzzbee Skyriding mount.
Additionally, players can follow a new epilogue questline, revealing the aftermath of the Dalaran explosion and introducing new story chapters with a familiar character in a dark setting.
Character customisations and upcoming anniversary
Players using Human and Kul Tiran characters will now have access to new Arathi ear customizations. These can be found in the Barber Shop, where players can adjust their character’s ear style. World of Warcraft fans can also look forward to the 30th Anniversary celebration, only 13 days away, promising more exciting announcements for World of Warcraft, Warcraft Rumble, and Hearthstone.
