EA Originals and Koei Tecmo have announced that the first April post-launch content update for their AAA hunting game, Wild Hearts, is scheduled to go live on April 6th.

This exciting update introduces a brand-new Kemono species, the wind-controlling Murakumo. As spring arrives in Azuma, players will face this formidable fox-like adversary that glides through the air on sakura blossom platforms and wields an array of deadly petal-manipulating attacks. Beware, as getting too close to the Murakumo’s powerful tornado could leave hunters unconscious.

To combat this fearsome beast, hunters can utilize the new Spinning Top Fusion Karakuri. This weapon gains speed and power with each obstacle it encounters, closing in to deliver a potent attack that can even stagger an assaulting Kemono. Additionally, the update introduces the new Limit Break system, allowing players to use Core Orbs obtained from successful Kemono hunts to enhance their weapons and armour.

Gamers can also anticipate another content update later this month, featuring the introduction of the Deeply Volatile Kemono, Deathhaze Gloombeak, as well as the new Serial Hunts special quest and more.

Wild Hearts is currently available for purchase on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through the EA App, Steam, and Epic Game Store at a price of £59.99.
