The debut trailer shows off a return to large-scale battles, base building, and the brutal squad combat fans know. Four factions will be playable at launch, each with its own style and units. For the first time ever, the Adeptus Mechanicus are joining the war. Their bizarre tech and massive machines look like a game-changer on the battlefield.

The campaign is big. Over 70 missions packed with huge fights and cinematic story moments. The Sync Kill system is also back, now with more detail and even bloodier melee finishers.
Modes are just as stacked. The classic Last Stand is here. Skirmish mode against AI, plus 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 multiplayer. Replayability looks strong. Players can also customise their armies with the Painter tool to show off unique colours and styles.
It’s been a long wait since Dawn of War III, but Dawn of War 4 looks like a return to form. Fans of Warhammer strategy finally have something massive on the horizon.
