TEAMGROUP has announced its latest high-speed storage drive, the T-Force Z54E Gen 5 NVMe SSD. This new drive is built for gamers, creators, and PC enthusiasts who want next-level performance and faster load times.

The T-Force Z54E is powered by Phison’s latest E28 controller, which is made using TSMC’s 6 nm technology. This helps the SSD stay cooler and perform more efficiently than older Gen 5 models that used the E26 controller.

Available in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB sizes, the drive connects through the PCIe 5.0 x4 interface, offering lightning-fast sequential read speeds of up to 14,900 MB/s. The 2 TB and 4 TB models can reach up to 14,000 MB/s write speeds, while the 1 TB version offers up to 13,700 MB/s writes. These numbers make it one of the fastest consumer SSDs on the market right now.

The drive comes with a graphene-based heat spreader instead of a large heatsink. This means users should rely on their motherboard’s built-in SSD heatsink to manage temperatures during heavy workloads.

While Team Group hasn’t shared random read/write details yet, it did confirm endurance ratings of 600 TBW for 1 TB, 1200 TBW for 2 TB, and 2400 TBW for 4 TB models, ensuring long-term reliability.

The T-Force Z54E promises top-tier performance and improved cooling efficiency for demanding users, though pricing details are yet to be revealed.
