NetEase Games has confirmed that its new open-world MMO Sword of Justice is launching on 7 November, and you can already try it out with a free PC demo.

This isn’t your usual MMO grindfest. Sword of Justice ditches the old rules with its new “Paths Converge” system, giving both casual and competitive players full rewards no matter how they play. No paywalls, no stress, just pure exploration and freedom.

Sword of Justice gameplay overview

An MMO inspired by the Song Dynasty

Set in a stunning world shaped by Eastern art and the beauty of the Song Dynasty, Sword of Justice invites you to climb mountains, explore ancient caves, and uncover forgotten martial arts techniques. It’s all about finding hidden treasures, solving old puzzles, and mastering moves to take down mythical beasts and bandits.

There’s life beyond the battlefield, too. Players can perform on the streets, test their archery skills, take part in court trials, or pick from nearly a hundred professions. The bustling world is inspired by the iconic painting Along the River During the Qingming Festival.

And if you prefer solo play, you’re covered. The new “NPC Companion System” lets you tackle dungeons alone while still earning great rewards. You can also relax with fishing, farming, sightseeing, or archaeology.

With Path Tracing and NVIDIA DLSS 4 support confirmed for PC, Sword of Justice looks ready to impress. The demo is available now. Download it and see what kind of hero you’ll become.
