Slime Heroes is bringing its gooey goodness to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in 2025, but if you’re playing on Xbox Series, Switch, or PC, you can jump in much sooner—February 13, to be exact.

Developed by Pancake Games and published by Whitethorn Games, this 3D action-adventure game takes you on a charming yet perilous journey through a world tainted by corruption. And, in a refreshing twist, the hero isn’t your usual sword-wielding warrior but a slime—squishy, adorable, and ready to prove its worth.

Slime Heroes bio

In Slime Heroes, you play as a little blob of bravery, setting out to restore balance to a world in distress. As you explore six diverse regions, you’ll battle corrupted creatures, solve puzzles, and uncover forgotten treasures. But the real hook? Magical gems. These power-ups let you mix and match skills on the fly, creating powerful attacks tailored to your playstyle.

And if you don’t want to go it alone, bring a friend! Whether couch co-op or online multiplayer, Slime Heroes lets you and a buddy team up, share loot, and craft complementary abilities to take down the toughest foes.

  • Customisable combat – Find magical gems, experiment with different combinations, and build unique attacks to crush enemies your way.
  • Co-op chaos – Play solo or drop in and out of a friend’s game for some tag-team action. Loot is shared, so no fighting over who gets the best gear!
  • Expansive world – Six stunning regions, each ruled by a god, packed with hidden areas, puzzles, and dungeons waiting to be conquered.
  • Personalised slime – Customise your hero’s face and colours, then hunt down stylish hats that not only look great but also grant stat buffs.

With its mix of charming aesthetics, fast-paced combat, and flexible co-op gameplay, Slime Heroes looks like a hidden gem for action-adventure fans. While PlayStation users will have to wait until 2025, everyone else can dive in when the game launches on February 13.
