The announcement was made at Gamescom 2025, confirming the game is headed to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam & Epic Games Store), and Nintendo platforms (TBC). For Xbox players, it’s a first; Shenmue III has never previously been available on Microsoft’s hardware.

- 4K texture uplift and support for DLSS/FSR upscaling on supported platforms.
