Australian dev team MAXART Games and Polish indie publisher Untold Tales have announced that their absurd couch co-op gas station builder, Servonauts, will make its debut on Nintendo Switch and PC on 21st November 2024.
Servonauts is a quirky co-op game for 1-4 players that puts you and your mates in the roles of disposable galactic blue-collar workers. Your mission? Build up a servo (that’s Aussie slang for “gas station”) in some of the most questionable locations the universe has to offer. As impatient space travellers demand service, you’ll set up refineries, wrangle wobbly pipes, and mix the right fuels—all while trying to avoid blowing your customers into stardust.

Build a station and pipeline
To fuel the eclectic array of space vehicles, you’ll need to utilise Astroil’s patent-pending pipe technology. These wobbly, physically-simulated pipes can bend and stretch to get fuel where it needs to go. They’re even partially lava-resistant—unlike the Servonauts themselves!
Refine the right fuels
When customers pull into your servo, they’ll request specific types of fuel. It’s up to you to build machines to refine and combine fuels, creating advanced recipes. But be careful—pumping the wrong fuel can have explosive consequences that might leave your station in ruins.
Up to four-player co-op
Whether you’re flying solo with in-game support or teaming up with friends, Servonauts offers gameplay for duos, trios, or chaotic four-player quartets. Work together to optimise your logistics and aim to collect all three gold stars on each level.
Platform-specific features
On Steam, the game supports local couch co-op and online play via Steam Remote Play, allowing you to team up with friends wherever they are. The Nintendo Switch version supports local couch co-op, perfect for gaming sessions on the go or at home.
