This weekend, Guardians from around the world united to fight against an ancient threat in the highly anticipated Root of Nightmares raid race. The stakes were high as teams competed to be the first to conquer the raid and claim the coveted World First title.
After hours of intense battling, we are thrilled to announce that Team Hard in the Paint emerged as the victors, earning the title of World First Champions of Root of Nightmares. Not only did they beat the raid, but they also completed the additional challenges, making them the first team to achieve this impressive feat.
The six members of Team Hard in the Paint will receive World First title belts, solidifying their place in history as the ultimate champions of this epic raid. Congratulations to them on this incredible accomplishment!
For those who have yet to complete the Root of Nightmares raid, there’s still time to earn some recognition for your efforts. Guardians who finish the raid before March 20, 2023, at 3:59 PM GMT, will have the opportunity to purchase the Root of Nightmares Raid Jacket through Bungie Rewards as a commemoration of their achievement.
Additionally, those who complete the raid during Season of Defiance will be able to purchase the Raid Pin through the Bungie Rewards Store. So, rally your fireteam and take on this exciting challenge before the deadline to claim your spot among the elite Guardians who have conquered the Root of Nightmares.
