This choice gives fans the freedom to experience the game the way they prefer, whether they want the close-up intensity of first-person or the more familiar third-person camera. While most Resident Evil titles have traditionally used third-person, Resident Evil 7: biohazard introduced the series to first-person gameplay. That continued in Resident Evil Village, until the Winter’s Expansion DLC brought in a third-person option. With Requiem, both views are built in from day one.
