After years of delays, PRAGMATA is finally moving forward, and sooner than expected.
During its latest Spotlight showcase, Capcom confirmed that PRAGMATA will now launch on 17 April, one week earlier than the previously planned 24 April release. It is a small shift, but for a game that fans have been waiting on since 2020, every day counts.
The sci-fi action title will arrive on Xbox Series platforms, PlayStation 5, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. A gameplay demo is already available for players who want to get a quick look before launch.

PRAGMATA is finally nearing release after years of delays
The road to release has not been smooth for PRAGMATA. When Capcom first revealed the game in 2020, it was expected to arrive in 2022. That window slipped to 2023, and the project then went quiet for a while.
According to the game’s director, much of the extra time went into balancing the gameplay. Players control both Hugo and Diana, and the team needed more time to make their abilities work naturally together.
The game will also include cosmetic options for both characters. Some of these will be included in the Deluxe Edition for players who pre-order.

With Capcom currently riding the success of Resident Evil Requiem, the publisher will be hoping PRAGMATA keeps the momentum going when it launches next month.
