PlayStation Plus subscribers have a solid month ahead, with Sony officially confirming the Game Catalog and Classics titles for January 2026. Eight games are joining the service, with two major releases doing most of the heavy lifting.

Two big headliners lead the January PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup

The standout addition is Resident Evil Village. This is the eighth mainline entry in Capcom’s long-running horror series and remains one of its strongest modern releases. The timing feels deliberate too, with Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth instalment, launching on February 27. If you skipped Village the first time, this is a good chance to catch up.

Joining it is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s latest RPG pushes Ichiban Kasuga’s story forward with a huge map, turn-based combat, and an absurd amount of side content. It is easily one of the biggest PlayStation Plus additions in months.

Beyond the headliners, the Game Catalog offers a nice mix. Expeditions: A MudRunner Game delivers slow and heavy off-road driving, while A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead leans into tension and survival. You also get Darkest Dungeon II, The Exit 8, Art of Rally, and the calm puzzle experience of A Little to the Left.

On the Classics side, Ridge Racer joins the service.

All games arrive on January 20. Extra members can access the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, while Premium and Deluxe tiers unlock the Classics lineup.
