PlayStation has revealed the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog line-up for August 2025, and it’s a strong one. Leading the charge are Mortal Kombat 1 and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, both landing on August 19 for Extra and Premium members.

There’s plenty more to explore. Sword of the Sea brings its dreamy landscapes, while Earth Defense Force 6 is ready for another round of bug-blasting chaos. Fantasy fans can dive into Unicorn Overlord and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. Quirky adventures arrive with Indika and Harold Halibut, alongside the farming-life sim Coral Island.
Premium members also get two classics: Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. And if you’re curious about upcoming titles, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is now available as a Game Trial.
It’s a busy month for PlayStation Plus, especially with Lies of P already confirmed for Essential members. Sony’s recent streak of popular additions shows no sign of slowing. With so much variety on offer, there’s something here for just about every player.
