A challenging new boss fight
This Phantom Blade Zero trailer introduces the Seven Judgements, a group of once-noble warriors now corrupted by the Transcension process. These enemies fight in a sword formation led by their leader, Decree. The disciples wear white robes with hollow faces, while Decree is dressed in blue with a glowing hollow face.
Players will need to face multiple enemies at once, focusing on Decree, the core of the formation. However, Decree’s survival is tightly linked to the other disciples. They can heal him by sacrificing their health, and if fewer than three disciples remain, Decree can use his health to bring them back. A shared health pool adds to the complexity of the fight, and the disciples, controlled by group AI, can launch attacks from multiple directions.
In the second phase of the fight, three disciples use red strings to control a puppet called Tyrannical Decree. These enemies move across the arena like pendulums, requiring players to master new attack patterns and timing to succeed. Chasing them without planning can lead to poor attacks and wasted chances.

Snake-themed weapons
S-GAME also showcased new snake-themed weapons in the Phantom Blade trailer. In the first phase of the fight, players can wield White Python and Red Viper swords. White Python is a long sword suited for wide, sweeping strikes, while Red Viper is a shorter blade ideal for precise attacks. Players can combine these weapons for unique combat strategies, such as using the long sword to launch the short sword at enemies.
In the second phase, players can use the Venomous Softblade, a flexible weapon designed for deflecting and countering attacks. It adds a layer of strategy to the fight, rewarding careful timing and precision.

With its engaging gameplay and visuals, Phantom Blade Zero continues to generate buzz. S-GAME has yet to announce a release date, but the trailer has left fans excited for what’s to come.
