Phantom Blade Zero has just received its best-looking showcase yet. NVIDIA dropped a new video, highlighting the action RPG running with ray tracing and DLSS 4 on PC.

The video puts a spotlight on reflections, shadows, and caustics powered by ray tracing. Reflections now bounce off surfaces with more accuracy. Shadows carry extra detail and depth, while caustics bend light under water for a more natural effect. There’s no RTGI here, but with Unreal Engine 5, you can expect Lumen to do some heavy lifting.

This isn’t just another Souls-like either. The devs have made it clear that Phantom Blade Zero leans closer to Devil May Cry and Sekiro than Dark Souls. Fast, fluid combat sits at the centre, with cinematic flair baked into every move.

As for release, things are still hazy. Early trailers pointed to 2025, but 2026 looks far more realistic. There’s no Steam or Epic Games Store page yet, and no PC requirements either.

For now, this is the closest look we’ve had at the game in action. It’s stunning, and it could set a new visual bar when it finally arrives.
