A new gameplay for Nioh 3, showing off a clash with the Tiger of Kai, Takeda Shingen, is here, by IGN. It’s a tense, heavy-hitting battle that captures everything fans love about the series.
Nioh 3 – Takeda Shingen boss fight
The game is set in a vast open world, filled with yokai and haunted villages. Every encounter feels dangerous, with enemies waiting to strike when you least expect it. For the bravest players, there’s The Crucible – an arena built to push your skills to the limit.
Nioh 3 lets you switch freely between two combat styles: Samurai and Ninja. Samurai focuses on power, with new moves like Arts Proficiency to boost martial attacks and Deflect for clutch counters. Ninja is all about speed, dodges, and tricky Ninjutsu like Mist and Evade, perfect for outsmarting foes.

Both styles add layers of strategy, making fights unpredictable and thrilling. Whether you charge head-on or weave through attacks with precision, every battle demands focus.
KOEI Tecmo has confirmed that Nioh 3 will launch on PC and PS5 in 2026. This first look at Shingen is only the beginning, and it’s already brutal.
