Dotemu and The Game Kitchen, in collaboration with Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA, have revealed a new side-scrolling action-adventure game, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The game is set to launch in summer 2025.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound offers a fresh twist on the beloved Ninja Gaiden series, blending its classic gameplay with modern touches. Developed by the team behind Blasphemous, the game captures the spirit of the original 8-bit Ninja Gaiden titles while integrating the intensity of the newer 3D entries.
This new chapter follows Kenji Mozu, a young ninja, as he defends Hayabusa Village from an army of demons. The story begins with Ryu Hayabusa travelling to America to honour his father’s wishes. While Ryu is away, chaos erupts as the barrier between the human and demon worlds breaks, putting the village in grave danger.
Gameplay that mixes old and new
