ChillyRoom has shared the first trailer and screenshots for Loulan: The Cursed Sand, an action RPG developed under the PlayStation China Hero Project. It’s coming to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A release date hasn’t been announced yet.

The game tells the story of an exiled royal guard who returns to the fallen kingdom of Loulan to find his lost princess. You will step into the role of “The Cursed Sand,” a skeletal warrior who commands the power of sand to fight, explore, and survive.
Combat is viewed from a top-down perspective, mixing fast, grounded melee action with clever use of the environment. You can switch between bone and sand forms, each offering different abilities and fighting styles.
You can expect creative sand powers, puzzle-solving, and intense duels against powerful bosses. With its haunting desert world and ancient ruins, Loulan: The Cursed Sand looks like a stunning mix of beauty, tragedy, and brutal combat.
