Bloober Team has confirmed Layers of Fear 3 during a livestream celebrating ten years of the horror franchise. The teaser was short, but it clearly signals the series is not finished yet.
Studio CEO Piotr Babieno said the original games shaped the studio’s identity. According to him, the series still defines what kind of horror the team wants to make.

Creative lead Mateusz Lenart also spoke about the theme behind the games. He explained that the series focuses on artists, obsession, and the fine line between inspiration and breakdown. The aim is emotional horror rather than simple scares.
Beyond the new game, the anniversary event brought other news. The soundtrack will release on CD and vinyl. A book deal with Foksal Publishing Group is also in place. The first novel, written by Marta Bijan, is planned for late 2026.

The sequel seems early in development. The studio is busy with several projects, including Cronos: New Dawn and a remake of Silent Hill 1, following its well-received work on Silent Hill 2.
For horror fans, the series is evolving, not ending.
