This wonderfully weird colony simulator drops players beneath the mystical World Tree, where they’ll raise generations of wide-eyed Meems, rebuild their crumbled civilisation, and throw gluttonous feasts that unlock new areas and uncover ancient secrets.

At its core, Hungry Meem is a fresh take on the colony sim genre. It fuses creature breeding, 2D Metroidvania-style exploration, and settlement building into one unique experience. Meems can be guided across generations, evolving in appearance and ability based on how you nurture them and where they explore. As you feed them, breed them, and send them out into the world, you’ll watch each generation develop new traits, forming a lineage of quirky little chaos gremlins.
But make no mistake, while Hungry Meem wears its whimsical charm on its sleeve, there’s a deeper mystery bubbling beneath the surface. What caused the collapse of the original Meem civilisation? What ancient power stirs beneath the roots of the World Tree?
