Tears of the Kingdom is finally here, and you’ve obviously managed to tear yourself away from it for long enough to type “How to beat the In-isa Shrine in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” into Google and find yourself on this website.
TotK equips Link with a full new suite of unique abilities to tackle its many challenges, and much like Breath of the Wild, essentially throws all of these abilities at you at once. This time we’re dealing with another vital part of that toolkit – the In-isa Shrine and the Fuse ability it holds within.
The Fuse ability is absolutely instrumental to combat in Tears of the Kingdom. You’ll need to make good use of it to beat the foes ahead. So read on to find out how to beat the Ukouh Shrine and start fusing weapons.
Where can I find the In-isa Shrine?
Unlike the Ukouh Shrine, you’ll have to do a little bit of work to get to the In-isa Shrine. Use the Ultrahand ability to craft a small raft out of logs and sail to cross the small lake you see before it. There are plenty of materials scattered around. Upon entering the Shrine, Link will be granted the Fuse ability, enabling him to essentially craft weapons out of the environment.
How to beat the In-isa Shrine
You can grab the Traveller’s Claymore nearby or simply use something in your inventory. Tap L to use your new Fuse ability and attach one of the nearby boulders to a weapon. You now have a makeshift sledgehammer.
With your new hammer, smash down the rock wall in front of you. It’ll take a few hits before it crumbles.
In the next chamber hang a right and head into a room conveniently dotted with Fire Blossoms. Help yourself – these are a very useful resources, as you’re about to discover. By drawing your bow and tapping Up on the d-pad you can attach these to your arrows. Fire one of these arrows at the vines on the far side of the room to release a treasure chest.
Open the treasure chest and head back the way you came. We’ve almost beaten the In-isa Shrine, and you’ll soon be able to wreak havoc on Link’s enemies with all sorts of weird weapons. Follow the short corridor along and climb the ladder.
This construct stands in the way of our escape from the Shrine – while it might look slightly intimidating, he’s not overly complicated. There are boulders on the floor to Fuse, and you can make use of fire arrows to set those vines on the floor alight. Hit those glowing red sensors with an arrow for weak spot damage.
With the construct’s defeat, just smash down that last rock wall and leave – you’ve just completed the In-isa Shrine.
Thank you for reading our Tears of the Kingdom: How to beat the In-isa Shrine guide! We hope it helped you get to grips with one of Link’s newest powers.
