Genigods Lab has announced GeniGods: Nezha, a new hardcore action RPG powered by Unreal Engine 5. The reveal comes with a debut trailer that shows off its myth-driven setting and fast-paced combat.

In GeniGods: Nezha, you play as the Spirit Pearl, the first life created by Nüwa, the Goddess of Life, using earth, water, and fire. This Spirit Pearl is reborn as Nezha. The game explores famous Chinese creation myths, placing players against towering gods while unlocking powerful celestial abilities.
Combat is built around two styles. On the ground, Nezha wields the Fire-Tipped Spear for close combat, parries, and precise counters. In the air, the Wind Fire Wheels allow rapid movement, aggressive strikes, and stylish aerial combos. The transition between ground and air combat is designed to feel fluid.
The developers say combat is inspired by Bruce Lee’s “Be Water” philosophy. Nezha carries Divine Water, which players can channel to enhance attacks or activate magical items. The system also draws from Jeet Kune Do, rewarding defensive play, smart timing, and reactive counterattacks.
There is no release date yet, but PC system requirements have been confirmed.
