PlaySide Studios announced Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, a real-time strategy game for PC on Steam, set to launch in 2026.

The game puts players in command of the Great Houses Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, or the Night King’s army. Each faction has unique heroes, armies, and strategies inspired by the world of Westeros.
Players will lead real-time battles using infantry, cavalry, siege engines, giants, and dragons. Success depends on tactical movement, hero abilities, and smart war decisions.
The game also focuses on political strategy. Players can form alliances, sway loyalties, and compete for control of the Iron Throne. It offers both solo and multiplayer modes with campaigns across the Seven Kingdoms.
Iconic battles from the Game of Thrones series are recreated, but players decide how events unfold.
