The story follows Ramza Beoulve in the war-torn kingdom of Ivalice, told through an enriched script, fully voiced dialogue, and updated visuals. Akihiko Yoshida’s new artwork showcases Ramza, Delita, Ovelia, and Alma, capturing the themes of loyalty and betrayal at the heart of the tale.

Battles play out on grid-based maps with strategic, turn-based combat. Players can master over 20 jobs and more than 300 abilities, building parties with dragoons, summoners, time mages, thieves, and many more. Terrain and positioning remain crucial for victory, keeping every fight intense and rewarding.
Two versions of the game will be included. The enhanced edition features modern updates such as auto saves, a tactical view, fast forward in combat, new difficulty settings, and an improved UI. The classic edition preserves the 1997 original, complete with the War of the Lions translation.
The voice cast includes Joe Pitts as Ramza, Gregg Lowe as Delita, and guest roles from Cody Christian as Cloud and Briana White as Aerith.
Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles launches 30 September for PS5, Xbox, Switch 2, PS4, Switch, and PC.
