Techland, the developers of the Dying Light series, have announced their latest title, Dying Light The Beast, set to release in summer 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam and Epic Games Store. For those who own the “Ultimate Edition” of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, the new game will be included at no extra cost.
Meet the Baron
At the centre of this new adventure is the Baron, also known as Marius Fischer, a ruthless scientist and the last heir of a powerful pharmaceutical family from Castor Woods. The Baron is responsible for years of horrific experiments on Kyle Crane, the protagonist, creating one of his toughest challenges yet.
Unlike typical villains, the Baron is driven by a warped sense of justice. He sees humanity’s survivors as weak and believes it’s his duty to “fix” them, even if that means causing pain. His experiments have produced terrifying virus strains, and his mysterious plans threaten everything Kyle holds dear.
