Camlann Games and solo developer Uncle Grouch Gaming have confirmed that Dungeons & Kingdoms will enter Early Access on November 17, 2025, for PC via Steam and GOG.
Blending elements of medieval kingdom building, villager management, and third-person RPG dungeon crawling, this ambitious indie project is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing genre hybrids in development.
For those who missed its demo, Dungeons & Kingdoms plays like a single-player mix of Medieval Dynasty and Valheim. Players will build their own settlement piece by piece, manage loyal villagers with unique personalities and skills, and venture into dungeons to gather resources, loot, and experience through intense third-person combat. Each component feeds into the other; dungeon delving supports technological progress, while kingdom management strengthens your economy and survival chances.

The game has already generated major buzz, with nearly 200,000 Steam wishlists and a strong reception during October’s Next Fest. That excitement looks set to carry into its Early Access debut, where players can explore all three key gameplay pillars: kingdom building, villager management, and RPG combat.
As a solo developer, Lincoln, the creator behind Uncle Grouch Gaming, has been open about his vision and the role player feedback will play in refining the game. “We want people to help us make this game amazing,” he explained. “Player feedback has already been invaluable, and that collaboration will continue throughout Early Access.”
