Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft have confirmed that Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is heading to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on 13 November in Japan and 14 November worldwide.
The game originally launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC on 11 October 2024.
Budokai Tenkaichi returns with new firepower
Sparking! ZERO builds on the classic Budokai Tenkaichi formula with fast-paced 3D battles, improved mechanics, and full immersion.
The Switch versions include local and online multiplayer, and motion control support, letting you perform attacks using the Joy-Cons.
This version packs the largest roster in Dragon Ball game history, over 180 characters from Dragon Ball Z, Super, GT, and several movies. Each fighter has unique transformations, skills, and finishers, offering deep variety and team-building options.

Fast battles, new modes, and fan-created fights
Combat stays true to the series with beam clashes, rush attacks, teleports, and planet-destroying ultimates. The presentation mirrors the anime with fluid animations and flashy effects.
Story mode lets you play through classic arcs and alternate character routes. Eight characters get their perspective in cinematic story missions. You can also create your battle scenarios and share them with players online, adding long-term value and fan creativity.
If you missed the console versions or want to drop some spirit bombs in your room whenever you want, then this might be the time to jump in.
