Destiny: Rising is coming to mobile soon. NetEase Games announced that the free-to-play RPG shooter will launch on August 28 for iOS and Android. It’s officially licensed by Bungie and takes place in a new Destiny timeline.
Destiny World returns on mobile
The game is set after the fall of civilisation. A new age begins as Lightbearers rise again. These heroes, revived by Ghosts, fight to protect what’s left of Earth. The Iron Lords return to guide them.
You’ll play as hero characters, each with unique powers and stories. Some are returning from the main Destiny series. Others are brand new. The story takes place in an alternate version of Destiny, far in the future.

Play your way
Game supports both first-person and third-person views. You can use touch controls or a controller. The game features campaign missions, PvE strikes, and PvP battles. There are also casual party modes and social hubs.
You can join friends to fight enemies or form clans. Game modes include six-player co-op and competitive matches. It keeps the feel of classic Destiny, but adds new ideas.

New locations and gear
Explore different sci-fi zones like Haven, Jiangshi, and the Red Sea Rift. Each area has its own story and style. You’ll search for hope and secrets in the ruins of a lost world.
There are also many exotic weapons to unlock and customise. Try different builds to match your style. Every weapon has traits that affect how you fight.

Destiny: Rising could be a big step for mobile shooters. The mix of story, modes, and gameplay feels close to the main games. You can pre-register now on the App Store and Google Play. The Light returns on August 28.
