Demeo x Dungeons and Dragons: Battlemarked is officially coming in late 2025, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest adventure yet from Resolution Games. Set to release on PlayStation 5, PS VR2, PC, SteamVR, and Meta Quest, the game combines the strategic combat of Demeo with the legendary worldbuilding of Dungeons & Dragons.
Demeo x Dungeons and Dragons isn’t just another co-op dungeon crawler. It’s a full-on narrative RPG set in the Forgotten Realms, and the first gameplay trailer already shows just how ambitious it is.
Story takes the lead in the new Demeo
If you’ve played past Demeo titles, you’ll know they’re heavy on tactical battles but light on storytelling. That’s changing now. In a press release, Tommy Palm, founder and CEO of Resolution Games, said:
“With Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons, story is just as important as combat, so we’ve rebalanced our approach. We’ve added dramatic cutscenes, richer dialogue, and deeper player choices.”
That shift towards a more narrative-driven experience is what makes Demeo x Dungeons and Dragons: Battlemarked stand out. It’s not just about surviving dungeon runs, it’s about living through a larger journey.

A familiar world with new danger
According to Mat Sernett, narrative lead on the project, the game will take players through some classic D&D locations.
“The first adventure brings players to Neverwinter Wood, Cragmaw Castle, and Mount Hotenow,” he said.
For anyone who played Dungeons and Dragons, fifth edition, back in 2014, these names will hit home. Battlemarked isn’t just borrowing the setting, it’s diving into it, embracing the rich lore and long history of the Forgotten Realms.

Fast-paced combat meets classic classes
Combat in Battlemarked sticks to what Demeo does best: turn-based action with real weight. Every decision matters. Whether you’re planning a surprise attack or setting up a perfect chain of abilities, the gameplay rewards careful thinking.
You’ll be able to play as iconic Dungeons & Dragons classes like rogue, paladin, and sorcerer. Each class brings unique strengths and abilities to the table, and how you use them will shape the outcome of each fight.

Solo or co-op—your choice
Multiplayer is core to the Demeo experience, and Battlemarked supports up to four players in full co-op. But if you’re playing solo, you’re not missing out. Dungeons and Dragons lets you create your own custom party, controlling multiple characters at once. There’s no need for a Dungeon Master, it’s all built in.

Built for flatscreen and VR
Whether you’re playing on a console, PC, or in VR, Battlemarked is designed to run smoothly across platforms. It will launch with multiple full-length adventures, with even more to come later. This isn’t a short campaign, it’s a full RPG built with replayability in mind.
