Dead Take drops July 31 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. It’s developed by Surgent Studios and published by Pocketpair Publishing.

Dead Take is a dark, psychological horror set in Hollywood. You play as actor Chase Lowry, voiced by Neil Newbon. He’s searching for his missing friend, Vinny Monroe, played by Ben Starr. The story begins after a wild Hollywood party ends in silence.

You’ll explore a luxury mansion. You’ll solve puzzles. You’ll piece together hidden footage. And you’ll uncover secrets the industry doesn’t want you to see.

Fame has a price

The gameplay mixes horror with escape-room puzzles. You’ll find creepy videos. You’ll put the clues together. And the deeper you go, the darker it gets.

This isn’t just a haunted house game. It’s a story about the cost of fame. And the fear of being forgotten.
