SmileGate and Tencent are taking the CrossFire universe somewhere darker with CrossFire: Rainbow. Developed by Linlangtianshang, it’s a first-person horror shooter mixing tense tactical action with supernatural terror. You can check out its gameplay trailer below.
CrossFire: Rainbow gameplay trailer
The setup is simple but chilling. When something unstoppable crawls out of the shadows, the battlefield turns into pure nightmare fuel. You’ll creep through eerie locations, fight horrifying enemies, and face a nasty twist – sometimes the thing hunting you will be… you.

The trailer doesn’t hold back. It looks like Unreal Engine 5 is powering the game, with stunning lighting, detailed environments, and an oppressive atmosphere. Best of all, it’s actual gameplay footage, no pre-rendered stuff. Sure, it might be heavily scripted, but it’s exactly the kind of polish you’d expect from UE5.
There’s no release date yet. No store page. No extra info. Just a trailer that drops enough hints to make horror fans lean forward.
If this is our first glimpse at CrossFire: Rainbow, the full game could be a seriously intense ride.
