Paradox Interactive has confirmed that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will include all six clans at launch. That means no DLC paywalls for the Toreador and Lasombra, which were previously locked behind day-one add-ons.

At release, players will have access to Brujah, Tremere, Banu Haqim, Ventrue, Toreador, and Lasombra. To fill the gap, Paradox is swapping the DLC clans with two story packs, planned for 2026. These won’t be ready at launch in October 2025.

The game is set in Seattle, and it drops you into the World of Darkness. You rise through vampire society, navigating rival factions and dangerous politics. You can lean on supernatural abilities or smooth-talk their way into getting what they need. That could mean luring mortals into alleys to feed and ease the Hunger. But if you reveal too much, you risk breaking the Masquerade.

You should temper expectations, though. Early impressions suggest Bloodlines 2 leans more on action and stealth than deep RPG systems. If you’re looking for a direct follow-up to the 2004 cult classic, you might be disappointed.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 launches on 21 October 2025.
