37 years later, the legend continues
The original Beyond the Ice Palace hit platforms like the Amiga and ZX Spectrum back in 1988. Now, nearly four decades later, the sequel has set a record for the longest gap between an original game and its follow-up. The developers have aimed to capture the spirit of the classic while bringing modern mechanics to the table in Beyond the Ice Palace 2.
“We wanted to create something that respected the cult status of the original while evolving it for 2025,” the team says.
